Day #3 – Chain Reaction

You’re doing GREAT! Emotions can be really uncomfortable to face, but it’s so important to face them head on to be able to THRIVE on your caregiving journey.
Our next step with emotions is looking at those actions that the emotions are triggering and recognizing, how do we feel AFTER we take that action?
For example: When I am tired, I may snap at my kids. After I snap at my kids, I feel regret and disappointment in myself.
So how are those actions making you feel? Are they helping you feel like you’ve shown up as the best YOU that you can be?
