Continuing to look at communication with your spouse/loved one. There is never a doubt in my mind that my husband’s accident strengthened our relationship. But it doesn’t mean it’s not still hard sometimes.
He is my PERSON. My best friend. The person that I want to share everything with! But when those emotions involve
being sad about a doctor’s visit, or frustrated with him, that is undoubtedly hard to work through.
Today’s homework is going to be a little vulnerable.
Ask your loved one these 3 questions:
What’s the most frustrating thing for you right now?
When I need to tell you something that you may not like, what’s the best way to tell you?
When you are having a bad day, what is the best way for me to support you?
